Tenugui is a traditional Japanese cotton towel, where "Te" means hand and "nugui" means wipe.
It can be used not only as a towel and handkerchief, but also as a placemat, headband, wall hanging, etc.
In Shibari, we use it to wipe our hands. gags and blindfolds. In fact, if you have a few then you can even cover the whole face, which can have a really wonderful effect.
