Rope - What should I choose?

Here we try to provide a small overview of ropes that are used in connection with rope bondage.
The type of rope that appeals to each rigger and model is very individual and depends on what the rope will be used for.

Rope Tuition

We have put together a small overview of places that offer tuition in Shibari, Kinbaku and Japanese rope-bondage. This covers a variety of formats such as group classes, workshops and private tuition.

Here at Ropes & Riggers we don't offer tuition, but will gladly help to find the right place for you.

Online tutorials

We have collected some online instructional videos here ....
It is our belief that you cannot learn Shibari/Kinbaku by watching videos, we strongly recommend that you get personalized instruction from an experienced instructor in a class at an established Shibari/Kinbaku location or as a private lesson.
Videos are great for refreshing already learned techniques
