This Furoshiki is part of the acclaimed Isa Monyo series, created by the Isa Monyo Research Institute, founded by Kunio Isa, one of Japan's most influential stencil artists. The series revives traditional Japanese patterns and gives them new life in modern designs.
The reversible design is created using a special Japanese technique where both sides feature the same pattern, but in different colours. This gives the garment two looks in one and makes it possible to change your look according to your mood or the occasion.
The large format makes the cloth perfect for storing ropes from our [[INTERNET LINK → Shibari & Kinbaku Rights]but it can naturally also be used as traditional Japanese gift wrapping, a small bag, scarf or as a beautiful detail for Yukata and Kimono.
Many also choose to combine their Furoshiki with a [[INTERNET LINK → Tenugui]and a[INTERNET LINK → Ropes & Riggers Rebtaske]to keep ropes and equipment on a boat in a practical and aesthetic way.
