Komesichi Irodori Traditional Japanese Tenugui with white aubergines on a purple background.
Tenugui is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth that has been used for generations for everything from towels and headwear to decoration and gift wrapping.
In the bondage scene, the Tenugui has found its own special place and for many has become an absolute must-have in their rope bag. It is often used as a blindfold and gag and takes up almost no space, making it easy to always carry.

Many choose to store their Tenugui alongside their favourite ropes from [[INTERNET LINK → Shibari & Kinbaku Rights]] or packed in a [[INTERNET LINK → Furoshiki]together with the rest of the equipment.
Aubergines, or Nasu in Japanese, are a classic Japanese symbol of good fortune and are associated with luck, prosperity, and new beginnings. The white aubergines on the purple background give this Tenugui a playful yet traditional Japanese aesthetic.
If you have a few of them in your bag, they can also be used creatively for various forms of sensory play or to completely enclose the face and create a different and imaginative experience.
