Self-adhesive electrode pads are among the most versatile electrodes for E-Stim. The self-adhesive backing makes them quick to position, while the conductive surface ensures stable electrical contact with the skin.

The electrodes are made of medical grade quality and are equipped with a standard 2 mm/TENS connection. They are compatible with E-Stim Systems power boxes as well as other equipment that uses the same connection.

With a size of 50 × 50 mm, the electrodes have a larger contact area than many smaller standard pads. This makes them suitable for general external use where even contact with the skin is desired.

Electrode pads are monopolar electrodes. To create an electrical circuit, therefore, at least two contact points must always be used, for example two electrode pads or one electrode pad together with another compatible electrode.

The electrodes can be reused several times if handled with care. If the adhesiveness decreases, it can often be improved by adding a few drops of water to the self-adhesive surface.

The manufacturer does not recommend the use of conductive gel with these self-adhesive electrode pads.

Why are they supplied in packs of four?
These electrode pads are monopolar, meaning that E-Stim requires at least two contact points to create an electrical circuit. Therefore, they are supplied in packs of four electrodes, giving you multiple combination options as well as a spare set for when the first ones eventually lose their adhesiveness.

Application

Connect the electrode pads using a compatible 2 mm/TENS lead and place them on clean and dry skin. At least two contact points must always be used to create an electrical circuit. After use, put the protective film back onto the electrodes to maintain the adhesiveness for as long as possible.

Safety

The electrode pads are intended for use with compatible e-stim equipment. Only use the electrodes on intact skin, and avoid application around the head and neck.

Do not use E-Stim if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, heart disease or an electronic implant such as a pacemaker or insulin pump. If you are in doubt, you should consult a doctor before use.

The manufacturer does not recommend the use of conductive gel with these self-adhesive electrode pads.
