Description
“Ogawa” – known through generations of Japanese rope masters and loved for its balance of strength and beauty.
This version in deep purple (紫/murasaki) carries a color that in Japanese culture symbolizes nobility, spirituality and dignity.
Purple has historically been the color of the samurai and the imperial family, worn as a sign of honor, wisdom and calm in the midst of battle.
It is the color of those who master themselves – of the rigger who binds with precision and presence.
The rope is made in Japan from 3-strand jute, hand-treated with Ropes & Riggers’ rope paste and ready to use. It quickly becomes vibrant and silky but retains its firm structure.
