Description
“Ogawa” – a name associated with Shibari, Kinbaku and Japanese rope tradition.
Our red Ogawa rope is created for those who want to bring intensity and presence into their rope practice.
In Japanese culture, red (赤/aka) symbolizes vitality, courage and passion. It is the color of the heart, of love and energy – often worn by brides and warriors as a sign of strength and determination.
When you choose a red rope, you choose warmth, fire and movement – a rope that awakens both body and mind.
Like the classic natural colored Ogawa rope, this version is made in Japan from 3-strand jute, 6 mm thick, treated with Ropes & Riggers’ rope paste and delivered ready to use.
It quickly becomes softer and more pliable, but retains its strong structure and character.
