We are proud to present Nawaya jute rope - a beautiful and authentic Japanese rope from one of Japan's oldest rope manufacturers. The word "Nawa" means rope in Japanese, and Nawaya stands for high quality and traditional craftsmanship.

This rope is made from three beaten cords with eight strands each, which distinguishes it from our traditional ropes. Unlike ropes treated with mineral oil (JBO), Nawaya rope has no distinctive scent,

The rope is wound slightly tighter than traditional Japanese ropes, but gradually becomes more flexible, reaching its full 6mm thickness after use.
Its strength and durability make it particularly suitable for beginners, while retaining the classic Japanese aesthetic appreciated by experienced Shibari and Kinbaku practitioners.
