How the parts fit together

A typical setup could look like this:

Anchor point → Sling → Karabiner → Swivel → Suspension ring → Rope

How do you choose the right hardware?

Yes. Always check the hardware for wear, deformation, cracks or other damage, and replace components that show signs of weakness.
